Board of Trustees
Skip Burris has served on the Mobile Christian Board of Trustees for over 30 years. He is a Deacon and member of the Regency Church of Christ. He is married to Liz who has taught K4 at Mobile Christian for 25 years. Their 3 children, Dena, Ira, and Lori, all attended Mobile Christian School. Skip is a retired electrician of 32 years of Mobile Energy. He also served our country 8 years in the Navy.
Russ Davidson serves as the Chairman of the Board. He has served on the board for seven years and as Chairman for six years. He is a Deacon and member of the Regency Church of Christ. He attended grades K-12 at MCS and graduated in 1988. He is married to Amanda. They have a son Ethan in 3rd grade and a daughter Abby in K5 who both attend MCS. He is a broker at Weichart Realtors - Southern Properties on Cottage Hill Road.
Mark Erwin is a partner at the law firm of Satterwhite & Erwin, L.L.C. Attorneys. He is a 1986 graduate of MCS and 1998 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. Mark is married to Silvia Sargent Erwin who is the Chorus Director at MCS. They are members of Creekwood Church of Christ where Mark serves as a Deacon. They have three children at MCS, Emma Dixon 6th grade, Sargent 4th grade and Barton 1st grade.
Michael Eubanks Sr. has served on the Board for 19 years and is the Vice-President of the Board. He attends the Azalea City Church of Christ where he serves as an elder. He is married to Tonya who is an alumni of MCS in the class of 1982. Their son Michael is a 2005 graduate and their daughter Kristin is a 2007 graduate. He is the Vice President of Gulf Hauling.
Scott A. Hardy has served on the MCS Board for two years. He is a member and Deacon of the Creekwood Church of Christ. Scott is married to the former Ms. Hilary Troughton, who graduated from MCS in 1998. They have two daughters who attend Mobile Christian; Meghan is in the 6th grade and has been attending MCS for 8 years. Caitlin is in K5 and has been attending MCS for 4 years. Scott is also an Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity coach at MCS. He has coached for 4 years.
Carey Lancaster serves as the Treasurer of the Board. He is a Deacon at the University Church of Christ. His wife Kathryn is a second grade teacher at MCS. They have 2 children attending MCS; Tyler and Madison. Carey is Vice President of Hancock Bank, Commercial Lending.
Casey Melton is a pulmonologist with Pulmonary Associates of Mobile. He graduated from Alabama Christian Academy in 1993. Casey and his wife Amy are members at Regency Church of Christ. They have 2 children at MCS. Kayla is in 3rd grade and Laney is in K4.
Greg Moorer has served on the Board for 5 years. He is a Deacon and member of the Creekwood Church of Christ. He attended MCS as a student and graduated in 1983. He is married to Traci. They have a son Autrey in 4th grade and a daughter Belle in 6th grade, who attend MCS. He is the owner of Oak Ridge Pharmacy in Tillman's Corner.
David Myers is the full-time pulpit minister for the Azalea City Church of Christ in Semmes. He has served on the MCS Board for 3 years. David is married to Sarah, a former 2nd grade teacher at MCS. They have 5 children, Rachel, Jenny, Ryan, Aaron, and Nathan. Both Aaron and Nathan are current students at MCS in the 10th and 8th grades.
Hank Oakes has served on the MCS Board of Trustees since 1990 and is the Secretary of the Board. He is married to Marsha who teaches fourth grade at MCS. They are members of Port City Church of Christ where Hank serves as a Deacon. Marsha and Hank have 3 sons who are MCS graduates. He is the President of Geotechnical Engineering-Testing, Inc.
Kenny Redd is Vice President /Owner of Redd Pest Control Solutions and has served as President of the MCS Booster Club since 2006. Kenny is married to Lesa and they have three children; Brandon08 graduate of MCS, Jonathon 11th, and Julia Grace 5th grade. The Redds are members at Regency Church of Christ.
Lisa Turner is new to the MCS Board. She is married to Burke Johnson and their son, Thomas, is in the fifth grade at MCS. They attend Regency Church of Christ. Lisa is a professor in the Psychology department at the University of South Alabama.
